Summary:

A general election will be held May 3, 2025 for the purpose of electing three School Board Trustees (Places 5, 6 and 7) to serve on the Crowley ISD School Board.
The finalized Order of Election for the May 3, 2025 Board of Trustees election has been attached for Board review and consideration.
HB 1, passed in 2006, requires district trustee elections to be held on the same date as 1) the election for members of the governing body of a municipality located in the district or 2) the general election for the state and county officers. The voters of a joint election will be served by common polling places consistent with Election Code 271.003(b). |

Budgetary Impact:
|
|
Costs for the CISD May 3, 2025 School Board have not been projected, as of yet. The District is anticipating moderate increases over the last year's costs.
Last year, the District incurred the following elections related expenses:
1. City of Crowley and Crowley ISD Joint Elections Expenses totaled $5,448.65.
2. Tarrant County Elections and Crowley ISD Joint Elections Expenses totaled $38,655.92.
Total District costs for contracting with both entities:$ 44,104.57 for conducting the May 2023 CISD School Board Elections. |
