CISD received notification from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) on November 27, 2023 that we would be required to rebid our Food Service Management Contract (FSMC) for the upcoming year as a result of language in the contract that was no longer permissible.
As such, the District engaged in the rebid process and advertised an RFP for Food Services Management Contract (FSMC) for 2024-25.
There were four respondents to the RFP. TDA, after a review of all submitted documentation, deemed one of the respondents as non-responsive. The District finalized its evaluation of the proposals submitted based upon the criteria established by TDA.
The District is recommending Sodexo as the Food Service Management Company with regard to RFP-023-012-15-008. The period of performance begins July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 with the option to renew for an additional four (4) years, in one year increments.
