The attached includes information provided by TASB in preparation for the 2024 TASA / TASB Convention and the TASB Delegate Assembly.
Per Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Designation should be made before August 26, 2024 in order to ensure that the Delegate / Alternate receive all pertinent information prior to the start of the Delegate Assembly.
Additionally, TASB will welcome designations after that date, even as walk-ups, the day of the Delegate Assembly.

Summary:

Each year, the Board elects a delegate and an alternate to represent the district during the TASB Delegate Assembly at the TASA/TASB Convention. The 2024 Convention will be held September 27-29, 2024 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The purpose of this item is to take nominations or volunteers from current Trustees who are willing to serve as a delegate and alternate.
The Delegate Assembly will take place on Saturday, 28, 2024.
