Students in third through eighth grade gathered at Tarleton State University Fort Worth this month for the annual Battle of the Books competition. Teams from all Crowley ISD elementary and middle schools competed and showed that readers are leaders!
The first-place teams from each grade level will be recognized:
3rd grade - Jackie Carden Elementary School Story Squad
4th grade - Oakmont Elementary School 4 Ever Hawks
5th grade - Jackie Carden Elementary School Fiction Finders
6th grade - Crowley Middle School Ready Readers
7th grade - Summer Creek Middle School Colt Readers
