Summary:

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was created in 2019 as a part of House Bill 3. The goal of TIA is to recruit, retain, and reward high quality teachers by providing additional pay based on performance. Earlier this month, Crowley ISD surprised and celebrated 63 teachers who have achieved TIA designations of Recognized, Exemplary or Master. With a total now of 122 designated teachers across 21 campuses, we’re proud to keep growing and rewarding excellence in education. This marks the third year of TIA designations in Crowley ISD. This phase included special education and Montessori teachers, plus more secondary-level educators than ever before. Next year, Crowley ISD will submit an application to include honors, AP and Pre-AP courses in the program.
